Square 1 USB-C in Oak Green is a modern power strip designed to make charging and power access more flexible in everyday environments. Suitable for homes, offices, and public spaces, it comes equipped with three Type F Schuko sockets and two USB-C ports with up to 30W total output.
With its 1.8-metre flexible cable, Square 1 can be positioned easily wherever it is needed. The magnetic base and included metal plate with pre-applied 3M adhesive tape provide a practical mounting solution, helping keep surfaces organised while allowing the product to remain easily accessible.
The Oak Green finish gives Square 1 a more defined and contemporary appearance while still fitting naturally into AVOLT’s wider design language. Paired with matching AVOLT charging cables, it offers a complete setup that feels both practical and visually consistent.

Great design, quality construction and material
Nice, clean and functional
The item arrived with a visible, indelible stain on one of the faces. The overall design and quality are in line with what I expected, but this kind of cosmetic defect on a brand-new decorative item is disappointing. A stricter quality check before shipping would have been welcome. A shame, because the product itself is otherwise pleasant.
Was soll ich schreiben? DANKE ;-)
My unit worked well for approx a month but then it got bulky on one side probably due to some co structuring fault and seems to be overheating - hence the usb C ports work very randomly and tend to cut power supply. Will be refunding
Très beau design.
I ordered a pack of three Square 1 power extension cords. The product is designed nicely and comes in premium package.
However, out of three, one has a completely loose part inside that rattles all around the inside of the enclosure. The enclosure can't be open to potentially fix the problem (no screws or other disassembly solutions visible). The power outlets and USB charging ports work, but the premium aspect is completely gone and the safety of the device is questionable at his point.
At this price point and marketing communication, one would expect a solid build and decent Quality Assurance. Instead, you're getting a lottery. I hoped for something that will bring minimalism and simplify my space. What I got was disappointment and having to figure out how to go through the labyrinth of warranty process.
I wish you better luck, and discourage you from getting it as a gift as you won't know if your unit is faulty or not.
Avolt has taken something as ordinary as a plug extension and transformed it into a statement of design. Packaged with the same level of care and presentation you’d expect from Apple, the product immediately conveys a sense of premium quality.
The unit itself is sleek, understated, and elegant. I chose the black finish, which pairs perfectly with a silver-and-black MacBook Pro setup. It looks just as good on a desk as it does tucked neatly on the floor, though its pristine finish makes you want to treat it with the same care as any high-end accessory.
One standout feature is the integrated magnet. It’s impressively strong — perhaps stronger than expected — ensuring the extension stays put. Still, an additional magnetic base, or the option to purchase extras separately, would add even more versatility around the home.
There are a few refinements Avolt could consider: a cable that’s slightly longer, and colour-matched cable management straps to elevate usability. The black finish also attracts fingerprints, but this is easily remedied with a quick wipe.
Delivery was efficient, the outer box easy to open, and the unboxing experience satisfying. Overall, this is an 8/10 product — functional yet aspirational. Avolt is fast earning its reputation as the “Apple of plug extensions,” and if this is a sign of what’s to come, I’ll be first in line for their next release.
