from 789 reviewsGone are the days where I have to awkwardly duck under my desk to plug in my laptop. Now I have a beautifully designed and useful extension cord in the middle of my desk. Even charging my phone is a pleasure now, because I am no longer losing my USB C cable when I remove my laptop, it can stay plugged in always.
Everything is perfect, from packaging to quality and functionality. Very happy about collaboration between Avolt and Martinelli Luce.
The squares look great in crispy white. Product is extremely functional.
Beautiful and very practical product.
Delivery time very short for Belgium.
And the packaging is kind of an « Apple » like experience.
Added two more leads in blue for my two white Square 1 set ups so I could easily trace the leads back to the Square so now have white and blur leads from each Square 1, one for the iPhone and another for iPad charging.
Beautiful design with high quality finishing and super practical.
Beautiful.
Love the design and the quality of this incredibly practical item. The colour coordination is spot on – the main unit, the cable, the plug, and even the optional extension cables are all perfectly matched. It’s rare to see that level of detail. The built-in magnet makes it super easy to place wherever you like.
What I love most: it’s a power strip you don’t want to hide behind the couch.
If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be upgrading the USB-C port to at least 60W – 30W just doesn’t cut it for MacBooks or any other computer.
Still, hands down the most beautiful and thoughtful power strips I’ve ever owned.
Great design, works perfectly, great quality.
Worth every cent.
Super satisfied with my black multi-plugs. Exact size of my Modelec sockets. Design, sobre and ultra-practical.
... I try to be honest.
That was my, erm, 8th Square purchase. I have also two Beige Square 1s - 1.8m and 3m. 2 white Martinelli Luce Square 1s, 1 black Square 1 3m, 1 black Square 2, and a golden Square 1.
The above alone I guess would indicate my level of satisfaction with the products, however, I'll try to sum it up.
The pros:
+ Looking amazing - basically the only extender that you could place on top of a dining table and it would look OK. It's literally the best choice for a housewarming party - just ask for a color and voila.
+ Heavy duty - never plugged 3 kettles into it, but AFAIK the power limit is well above 3 kW. So it's not worse than a high-load extender you use for your precious console or PC.
+ Sturdy and firm - loose and sparky power connection is something that creeps many people out, not necessarily the OCD type. This one sits firm AF
+ For no reason at all, you can put a Square 2 into Square 1, and get an unnecessary bulky 5-plug extender (but why would you do that?).
- Cube design for packaging makes it literally the worst thing to transport in luggage. It takes quite a lot of space and you just can't fit it into any normal cabin bag.
Other than that - well, there are only a few things I would enjoy going forward.
Room for improvement:
1) non-EU plugs. I have friends in the UK and Ireland, and they all deserve a Square 1 or 2 as a present.
2) a model with a switch. That's the only reason I still employ other extenders - switching everything off when leaving on vacation without actually unplugging would be cool.
Love the colour & flexibility ✨
Perfect 👌
Works great!
