Square 1 USB-C in Mulberry Red is a compact power strip created in collaboration between AVOLT and the Bauhaus-Archiv. Designed for everyday use in homes, offices and public interiors, it features three Type F Schuko sockets and two USB-C ports with up to 30 W total output, allowing several devices to be powered and charged at the same time.
The 1.8-metre cable makes Square 1 easy to place close to desks, tables or wall sockets. A built-in magnetic base and the included metal plate with adhesive backing allow the power strip to be securely mounted on a variety of surfaces. Made from durable, high-quality materials, Square 1 USB-C is designed for regular use in visible areas.

Great design, quality construction and material

The item arrived with a visible, indelible stain on one of the faces. The overall design and quality are in line with what I expected, but this kind of cosmetic defect on a brand-new decorative item is disappointing. A stricter quality check before shipping would have been welcome. A shame, because the product itself is otherwise pleasant.
Steckdosenwürfel ist so heiß geworden, dass sich der Kunststoff verändert hat. Im Inneren begann es zu summen und Teile klapperten. Ich habe mich vor 8 Tagen an den Support gewendet und bis jetzt keine Antwort erhalten. Die Steckdose lag neben meinem Bett. Ich bin froh, dass ich nachts nicht abgebrannt bin. Es ist nur durch den Wechsel der Nachttischleuchten aufgefallen.
Was soll ich schreiben? Ein toller Würfel welchen ich in einem Design-shop gesehen habe. Farblich passt er genau zum Mac und ich kann direkt per USB-C mein Phone, Mouse, Tastatur... laden & die Steckdosen für Laptop etc....bin total happy damit. und Dank Magnet "klebt" er an meinem Tischbein...einfach toll.. DANKE ;-)
My unit worked well for approx a month but then it got bulky on one side probably due to some co structuring fault and seems to be overheating - hence the usb C ports work very randomly and tend to cut power supply. Will be refunding
Très beau design.
I ordered a pack of three Square 1 power extension cords. The product is designed nicely and comes in premium package.
However, out of three, one has a completely loose part inside that rattles all around the inside of the enclosure. The enclosure can't be open to potentially fix the problem (no screws or other disassembly solutions visible). The power outlets and USB charging ports work, but the premium aspect is completely gone and the safety of the device is questionable at his point.
At this price point and marketing communication, one would expect a solid build and decent Quality Assurance. Instead, you're getting a lottery. I hoped for something that will bring minimalism and simplify my space. What I got was disappointment and having to figure out how to go through the labyrinth of warranty process.
I wish you better luck, and discourage you from getting it as a gift as you won't know if your unit is faulty or not.

Super stylisch und praktisch.
Verfärbung am Gehäuse welche sich nicht entfernen lässt und starke Geräusche während iPhone und Apple Watch geladen werden. Inakzeptabel.
Dachte erst, ganz schön teuer - aber nützlich als Verlängerungskabel und IPhone und iPad Ladestation. In Kombi mit der Magnethalterung 🧲 an unserem Küchentisch fantastisch nützlich, etwas was man echt gebrauchen kann, wo sich ein Produkt-Entwickler echt mal Gedanken gemacht hat; die guten Dinge sind SOOO EINFACH, man muss nur erst mal drauf kommen.
Avolt has taken something as ordinary as a plug extension and transformed it into a statement of design. Packaged with the same level of care and presentation you’d expect from Apple, the product immediately conveys a sense of premium quality.
The unit itself is sleek, understated, and elegant. I chose the black finish, which pairs perfectly with a silver-and-black MacBook Pro setup. It looks just as good on a desk as it does tucked neatly on the floor, though its pristine finish makes you want to treat it with the same care as any high-end accessory.
One standout feature is the integrated magnet. It’s impressively strong — perhaps stronger than expected — ensuring the extension stays put. Still, an additional magnetic base, or the option to purchase extras separately, would add even more versatility around the home.
There are a few refinements Avolt could consider: a cable that’s slightly longer, and colour-matched cable management straps to elevate usability. The black finish also attracts fingerprints, but this is easily remedied with a quick wipe.
Delivery was efficient, the outer box easy to open, and the unboxing experience satisfying. Overall, this is an 8/10 product — functional yet aspirational. Avolt is fast earning its reputation as the “Apple of plug extensions,” and if this is a sign of what’s to come, I’ll be first in line for their next release.
J'ai commandé le square 1 martinelli Luce. Tout d'abord, juste préciser que le service avolt est très réactif (suite à des questions concernant la TVA). Le produit en lui même est top. La finition est impeccable. Je recommande les yeux fermés!
Le design est très élégant, le produit a l'air très solide, l'aimant est extrêmement puissant, et la longueur de câble de 3 mètres est parfaite pour ce qu'il me fallait ! Merci !

Top ! Produit de qualité avec de bonne finition. J'aurai apprécié que les prises usb-c soit sur une aute face que celle du câble d'alimentation ! Un prix plus au alentour de 50e merci semble plus adapté à ce produit.
Die Verlängerung lässt sich sehr gut und einfach mit Hilfe der Magnetplatte an Rückwänden von Nachtschränken befestigen. Die Farbe ist sehr schön und die Möglichkeit drei Steckdosen zu nutzen ist perfekt. Mich überzeugte das Design und die Innovation des Produktes. Ich habe auch die andere Variante mit Steckdosen und USB Anschluss gekauft und finde auch diese super.
Son design est vraiment élégant et moderne, parfait pour un espace de travail. Grâce à son système magnétique, je peux la fixer discrètement sous la table. Un produit à la fois esthétique et fonctionnel que je recommande sans hésiter !
Ich kann nur hoffen, dass es ein übler Scherz ist. Diese teure AVOLT-Steckdose wurde ohne Originalkarton einfach im Umschlag(?) ohne jeglichen Polsterung mit schon aufgeklebten Fixierungsaufkleber, Schrammen und Gebrauchsspuren sowie klappern im Innenteil aufgrund defekter USB-Buchse versendet. Schock! Ich haben schon eine AVOLT-Steckdose, und ich weiss bei dem Preis wie hochwertig der Originalkarton ist und welche Zusatzteile vorhanden sind. Ich bin wirklich fassungslos und irritiert über diese Art und Weise Kunden so mit „Müll“ zu beliefern. Ich hoffe wirklich man hat sich vertan: Anstatt in den Elektroschrott zu hauen hat man es aus Versehen verschickt. Man kann darüber echt nur lachen weil es so skurril ist. Retour heute mal sehen ob ich mein Geld wieder bekomme.
