What is covered by the warranty
AVOLT AB warrants that products purchased directly from AVOLT via our webshop are free from defects in materials, workmanship, and functionality for a period of two (2) years from the date of original purchase, provided that the product has been used in accordance with AVOLT’s published guidelines, including user manuals, technical specifications, and other product instructions.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects, functional defects, and defects present at the time of delivery, including cases where a port, outlet, cable, or other functional component fails during normal intended use.
What is not covered by the warranty
AVOLT AB is not liable for reimbursements, claims, or damages in cases where this warranty does not apply.
This warranty does not apply to:
- products purchased through channels other than AVOLT’s webshop;
- claims made more than two (2) years after the date of original purchase;
- cosmetic damage not caused by a manufacturing defect, including but not limited to scratches, dents, or broken plastic that occur after delivery;
- damage caused by external events, including but not limited to accidents, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, or fire;
- damage caused by use of the product in a manner that is not in accordance with AVOLT’s published guidelines, including user manuals, technical specifications, and other product instructions;
- products that have been modified or altered in any way not explicitly described in the applicable user manual;
- defects caused by normal wear and tear or the normal ageing of the product; or
- products that are stolen, or where AVOLT AB reasonably believes the product to be stolen.
This warranty applies only to products purchased for personal use and not for resale.
What happens in the event of a valid warranty claim?
If a valid warranty claim is approved, AVOLT AB will replace the defective product with a replacement product of the same model or, if that model is no longer available, with a product of equal or greater function and value. AVOLT AB does not repair products under this warranty.
If a product is replaced under this warranty, the replacement product will continue the remaining warranty period of the original product or be covered for ninety (90) days from the date of replacement, whichever is longer.
The defective product being replaced may need to be returned to AVOLT AB and, if so, it will become the property of AVOLT AB once the replacement has been issued.
