Avolt has taken something as ordinary as a plug extension and transformed it into a statement of design. Packaged with the same level of care and presentation you’d expect from Apple, the product immediately conveys a sense of premium quality.
The unit itself is sleek, understated, and elegant. I chose the black finish, which pairs perfectly with a silver-and-black MacBook Pro setup. It looks just as good on a desk as it does tucked neatly on the floor, though its pristine finish makes you want to treat it with the same care as any high-end accessory.
One standout feature is the integrated magnet. It’s impressively strong — perhaps stronger than expected — ensuring the extension stays put. Still, an additional magnetic base, or the option to purchase extras separately, would add even more versatility around the home.
There are a few refinements Avolt could consider: a cable that’s slightly longer, and colour-matched cable management straps to elevate usability. The black finish also attracts fingerprints, but this is easily remedied with a quick wipe.
Delivery was efficient, the outer box easy to open, and the unboxing experience satisfying. Overall, this is an 8/10 product — functional yet aspirational. Avolt is fast earning its reputation as the “Apple of plug extensions,” and if this is a sign of what’s to come, I’ll be first in line for their next release.

J'ai commandé le square 1 martinelli Luce. Tout d'abord, juste préciser que le service avolt est très réactif (suite à des questions concernant la TVA). Le produit en lui même est top. La finition est impeccable. Je recommande les yeux fermés!
I love how the cube looks on my desk and I'm quite happy with that, since it's very in the way of my eyes.
However, I find it quite pricey for what it is and likewise for the cables.
I am now considering also getting a usbc-c and lightining cable and that would be 50eur just for the matching color.
Regarding quality, I'm a little disappointed as well that the USB-C ports are only 30W and only 2. I would be happier to have at least one port with PD65W.

Just got my new (and matching) AVOLT Square 2 and USB-C to Lightning Cable – and I love absolutely love them! It's exactly what I needed to connect a bunch devices around my desk without having to go down the traditional and very ugly "power strip" path. I have to admit, I was surprised at the size of the Square 2 – it was much more compact than I had imagined. This was a pleasant surprise, because I needed it to fit in a somewhat compact space. Love when that happens! Now, I just have to muster up the budget to place AVOLT Squares throughout my home. (I'm now hooked...)
Let’s be honest it, extension cables were ugly until now. I have replaced ALL of my home cable with AVOLT. They a good quality and far more discrete.
